Is it really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising. Remora Labs makes it because everyday photo jobs should not cost money.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The app has no network connection at all. Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad, and it works in flight mode.
How do I turn HEIC photos into JPEG?
Pick the photos, choose JPEG as the format and save to Photos or Files. The Windows preset does it in one tap.
Can it remove the location from a photo?
Yes. Remove location only deletes the GPS position and leaves the rest. Remove all deletes every metadata field but keeps orientation and colour profile, so the photo still looks right.
Is the invisible watermark copy protection?
No. It is a proof of origin: it helps show where a photo comes from, but it does not stop anyone from copying it.
